Industrial production lines are our trade. We stay out of consumer and property work, because there we would lose to the listed building-services groups anyway.
We know what happens on a line.
We do electrical and automation contracting for industrial production lines. The deepest experience is in mechanical wood processing, sawmills and bio-heating plants, but boards, cable routes and field terminations are the same in any hall.
It shows in the schedule. On a plant type we know, we will commit to a tighter date than most: a process ready inside a three-week shutdown, for instance. Nobody should promise that on a plant they do not know.
We have our own standard, and it costs.
Our quote is usually higher than the competition. The reason is simple: we install to our own standard, which is stricter than the minimum requirement. We do not undercut ourselves.
Sometimes we flex to win a job that matters. But customers generally come back once they have tried cheaper.

It is the first thing a new hire learns from us. We grow slowly, because everyone has to fit the crew on attitude — that matters more than filling the roster quickly.
Supervision is on site. That should go without saying, and in this trade it does not.
A late schedule is not a force of nature.
The habit in this industry is to announce a slip and leave it there. Nobody adds people, nobody extends the day — it is noted, and everyone carries on. When several sites slip at once, it lands on our resourcing too.
The other one is workmanship. "It probably does not matter that much" is a sentence you hear far too often here. To us it does.

Consumer work
Sockets, lighting, heat pumps and solar panels are a trade of their own, and our kit and working methods add nothing to it. You will be better served, and more cheaply, somewhere else.
Property and apartment sites
Building services is a game of volume and unit price. We would lose it to the listed groups anyway, so we do not start.
Commissioning inspections of other firms’ work
Signing an inspection moves liability from the installer to the inspector. We do not take responsibility for work we did not watch being built. Of all these lines, this is the one with no exceptions.
Food industry, with caution
Hygiene requirements, materials and documentation differ from what we are practised at. We are glad to talk, and we will say plainly if the job is wrong for us.
