What we process
The contact form on this site does not send anything to our server. It assembles your answers into a pre-written email and opens it in your own mail client. The information reaches us only when you send that message yourself.
When you contact us we process what you provide: name, email address, company if given, and project details such as line type, scope and timing.
Server logs record technical data such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These are used for security and fault diagnosis.
Legal basis and purpose
Enquiries are processed to prepare a contract and on our legitimate interest in answering questions about our business. Server logs are processed on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
If we later enable audience measurement or advertising, the basis will be your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
Retention
Correspondence relating to quotations and projects is kept for as long as the customer relationship and the liabilities arising from it require, and after that for the period accounting law demands. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted no later than [RETENTION PERIOD, E.G. 24 MONTHS] after the last contact.

Who receives the data
We do not sell or rent personal data. It is processed on our behalf only by the service providers we need in order to operate: our website host and our email provider.
Some providers may process data outside the EU and EEA. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know whether we process data about you, and obtain a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have data erased where there is no longer a basis for processing it
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- request that processing be restricted
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time
How to exercise them
Send your request to iikka.kallio@linkindustrial.fi. We answer within one month. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or with the supervisory authority in your own country.

We update this notice when our operations or the site change. The current version is always on this page, and the date it was last updated is shown at the top.
